TIRAMISU & Mr Putra

Lemme show off my rare TIRAMISU VCD to you all!! MuHhahHAA! There's only 10 of them in SG & I am one of the lucky proud owners! MuAHAHA!! Its a recording of their live performance @ the Esplanade Theater.

TIRAMISU (not talking about the TV show) is our very own local band that is fused together by artistic members. Their showermanship for every of their performance is superb! I love their sets manz!

The front man of TIRAMISU is a very interesting man, his name is Mr Rizman Putra. He is such an enigmatic creature! He seems to have endless energy & endless ideas flowing out from his thoughts like gushes of water drowning people like myself! Everytime I watch him perform I will first be settled in a hypnotism of shock and then after the show my thoughts will be re-borned with rays of colors! Mr Putra inspires me! He must be the reincarnation of Da Vinci in the computorised mutated form in our era! A True artist of all Arts. Mr Putra has the achievements I have always dreamt about since young, and I admire him for that. I *Salute* you !!

Mortons Of Chicago (Singapore)

Heheh... thanks to Candy my best buddy, I went to Mortons for the 5th time today!

Mortons is a semi-fine steak house and they probably serve the best steaks in Singapore, probably the most expensive as well! Prices goes up as high as SGD170!! Hah! Frank Sinatra made the place famous so the restaurant plays ALL frank's songs.

The atmosphere at Mortons is just great! And today I have had the best company as well! Good food, Good place and Good friends! What more can I ask for!!

Got Xun ( its been a year since I last saw him!! ) , Kayo , Vanessa & of course the hostess of this whole dinner event, Candy. We have a great time!! Happy Happy Happy!

A Touching Freaky Coincidence

I was just thinking about Mr Mark Popplewell from Trinidad & I decided to write him a letter. I made him something as well. Then I saw Mark online & I spoke to him telling him I was gonna send some stuff over to him. Just when we were speaking online, the doorbell rang, I excused myself and went to open the door & it was Mr Postman! He had a parcel for me & guess what!! The parcel was from Mark!!! I was damn shocked! I was just telling him I was gonna send stuff to him and before i post it, his unxpected parcel arrived at me doorstep! Can you believe such coincidence!?!! I was freakked out manz!!

It always feels very nice to recieve a parcel or a post from a friend, but this one is really shocking! Shocking to the Max! But thank you Markie for all the gifts and for the CD.

I think I am probably the one and only person to own this Album, STEEL LOVE in Singapore! All the way from Trinicity! How lucky! Thank you very much Markie! Muackz!

Rainbow Message From The Bears

I love Care Bears when I was a kiddo, coz there were so many colors! Now I see Care Bears, I cant help but to think they are sending a hidden gay message.

Think about it, firstly, Care Bears is all about rainbow power. Which ideally fits the Gay Rainbow Pride.

Secondly, the bears have no sexuality difference, all seems like the same sex.

Thirdly, if you realised all the Care Bear soft toys have a red heart sewed on to right butt of the character. Left is right & Right is Wrong.

So I think the perfect cartoon to support the Rainbow Pride is Care Bears!! They are so adorable!! And so colorful! Gay Bears!

Local Metal Band - Wreckage

Metal is not really my cup of tea, maybe except for the drums. Surprisingly I am quite amazed how this band Wreckage caught my attention! Yes the drums and the screaming & growling.

Faiz, the drummer of Wreckage, I think he is born into this world to play metal, he is darn creative. Good! Young talents! New creative ideas to metal music! I knew Faiz a couple of years ago, back then he was a student of SAE and I was his classmate, and he did his 24 tracks project with Giri, it was a 2piece band but the songs were fantastic!!! I am glad he is still passionate about his music, never giving up.

Giri and myself were very happy when we heard he was coming to Focal to do his recording. And yes, Wreckage finished their recording in last then 1 month and they are good, I think their EP is gonna be out soon.

At the same time, I did an interview with Faiz as well. Wreckage is going to be the first band that is featured on our very own Focal blog!! Look out for it! Faiz lemme tell u this, not only you looked like Will Smith, not only you have a gf with the longest hair I have ever seen, you have the talent for Metal, I hope to see you with your positive attitude toward your music carrying on and on and bring the happening metal scene back in this island of ours!

Cheers to the young talents of this century! Bravo!

Ban XX-What Rights Have U Got?

I cannot stand this. I read on today's TODAY papers and I found an article on the papers totally disgusting. Its about a petition online to ban Wendy Cheng aka Xiaxue from Orchard Road. Manz! How can anybody do this?? Based on her blog? Mind you, her blog is her blog, she in person is another thing. What you readers know? You know her only from her blog and because you dun like what she says on her blog u decided to anti her? Come on grow up people! I dont read her blog but I see this article I "kwa buay lou" I feel damn bad for Wendy.

I went to the petition online to ban XX, and the comments were really really shallow.. its disgusting, if I tell that to foreigners they probably laff until their jaw dropped. And I dont understand WHY the papers have to publish the 'catfights' that are going on, its really stupid u know, how can newpapers inculcate citizens of Singapore to go on hating our fellow self?? That's maddness!! Please lah, its only a BLOG! Online diary! They write what they like and like what XX say IF YOU DONT LIKE MY BLOG , DONT READ IT. PERIOD.

The SunS Rock Again!!

I am addicted to The SunS, each of the members must have been a drug in their past life or something, JBoss=Marijuana , SanSinger=Heroine , Wayne Thunder=Morphin , when this 3 combined, with the sound of music, its maddness! I cant help but to follow on every of their song everyday at mySpace, because I dont know where to get their EP! Gourd damn it! The songs titled "Charlene" & " Cecelia" are very catchy and I cant help but it sub-consciously replay in my head over and over again.

The SunS are a funny lot of peepz, they even did a talk 'cok' show with Mr Brown, our old school blogger called "Zhng My Car" . Its Hilarious. To listen to it please go to the link below..

iPod Padi

PADI is a freakking happening Indo band, they are so freakking happening that they have their own iPod!! They are almost on par with U2 manz!!
This is almost unbelieveable because PADI doesnt have an official website and I wouldnt know of them if I havent met Vanessa, but it seems like they have won numerous awards for their band! And now PADI iPod! How did they do it??
I seriously think it has to be the supporters of the band, if PADI would be a Local band, I dont think they will ever make it this far. Maybe it's time for Singaporeans to really think about how much effort they put in for local bands. Anyways, POWER to PADI iPod!! Congratulations!!

I met Rafe's vocalist & bassist yesterday thru a mutual friend. They looked like very goodie young boys to me, I was told about their band, Rafe, but I havent heard of them before so I dont have much impression. I had a listen to their original song titled Strong ( Track 7 ) from their EP, my gawd! I was shocked! The music and lyrics for that song is good manz! Very radio-friendly song, I will get a hold of their EP ' Everything ' soon. Very impressive, young local talents, I hope they make it big locally, and make the local music scene proud!

Jaycee Chan 房祖名

FInally! I got a hold on 房祖名 album!! I have been looking around for his album but every cd shop tell me its not in production anymore. By rare chance, when I was in Chinatown getting some stuff done and I found the cd!! How lucky!

There is a song that he wrote called 最動聽 Track 4 , its damn nice loh.. simple lyrics and strings.. very soothing and touching. 最動聽 is also the theme song for Twins Effect 2 (千機變II: 花都大戰).

The whole album is just very simple, not the glam glam kind of music, but I can feel the sincerity for his love of music, its like Jaycee's very own collections of Jaycee's tunes, little thoughts. Just simple. I am glad I got this album.

Tabula The Band 2006

Tabula the Band! Heard there are some changes to the members within the band. Oh well, what a waste , I thought their band members were interesting to watch! But thanks for all the great performance you guys have put on for audiences like us.

Jack Black Alan Z is the bassist , he is one entertaining musician, very funny guy. He wrote & sang a very nice song called "Love Demon" . I have been bugging him for a copy of that song for my own personal listening, I havent got it yet but I will continue bugging him. I like that song!

Arron Jardin the guitarist, my ex-classmate, he is a super canadian guitarist! I see him carry 2 guitars and 6 or 7 guitar efx on a plank to school everyday, I think the amount of things he carry is heavier then he is .. so poorthing!! But I must say he is a very helpful and nice friend to have at school, and I admire his passion for music. Cool guy! I wished him all the best in his Music career!

Navin the drummer ( last guy on the right from the above picto ) , dont know him personnally but he seems like a nice guy,Spoke to him a few times and he was very polite! watched him played a couple of times before, quite steady leh.

Kelvin Wong is the vocalist.. he is quite an okay singer lah but horr..

The Dynamic Duo IS LAI-namic KHOO-o

Me and Bran did the most amazing thing anyone could think of today! We decided to even "try" to think we could walk to SengKang from Mustapha! We actually made it to "Bus 11" thru some highway we dont even know the name! Yes as crazy as we are, we didnt made it crazy enough to walk to IMH and check ourselves in. Hahah.. but its amazing how we can walk 8km or more worth of roads & Highways!! Damn!! We walk the whole damn serangoon road and we gave up when we saw Kovan Mrt.. hahah.. it wasnt just walking, we were laughing and walking at the same time, you can imagine how many vehicles passed by us at the highway thinking we are mad!!! Started walking from 4.30am till around 7am , seow sial! But with great teamwork we made it thru this "UnXpected" goal for 2006! We both are so damn proud we decided to name ourselves THE LAI-NAMIC KHOO-O We got the above picture to prove we did it OK!! Dont play play!! You know what Brandon?? I say Long Lived THE LAI-NAMIC KHOO-O and praise SengKang for being SOooo OUT of the place!! Gourd Damn it!!! My legs are wobbly now!! I go "Peng San" liao!

THE SUNS Rawkz Into 2006

THE SUNS! I am starting my 1st entry of 2006 with THE SUNS! My gawd they rawk BIG TIME! Such a fun band! They performed at Orchard Cineleisure, being the last band to be performing, they jam their songs into year 2006. Leonard Soosay was the sound engineer, he was wearing The Suns' T-shirt which looks quite cool but cannot get it in SG , not even their EPs.. not yet.. but soon!!! And I think I am gonna get every of their mech when they arrived! I guess today's gig was a power one, besides THE SUNS there's also UnXpected, PULSE, Lunarin & DJ KoFlow.

THE SUNS I like them because they are very friendly people and very sincere people, they dont have a ON or OFF stage attitude.. they are just them, which makes them the perfect rockstars. It's very heartwarming when you see their fans, cheering for them and they did no covers, ALL originals, thats so cool! I like the song titled " Charlene"
