I remember when I was a teenager, I always wanted to be a DeeJay, I saved all my pennies and cents and bought myself a simple DJ console set. Along the way, I met a very nice DJ, whom I lost contact with, who taught me with great patience. I was a very difficult student to teach, coz I have a very short concentration span and I cannot focus on the beats and I cant spin properly.

I was on the verge of giving up, he gave me a song and ask me to listen to the lyrics then he left SG to London. Till today, I never forgotten him and the song, its been a decade since I last saw him. The song is You Get What You Give by The New Radicals. Everytime when I listen to this song, I get very comforted, it seems like my DJ teacher has been encouraging me thru the lyrics of this song for all these years.
